  8. Your favorite winter food.
  9. The one thing you dislike about January?
  10. List 5 things you could do to manage the winter blues.
  11. Name 3 fun things you would love to do this month.
  12. What’s your favorite game to play with family & friends?
  13. Look up at the stars tonight and write about what you see.
  14. Does your dog/pet love the snow? Describe what they do when they see snow.
  15. Plan a night out with the guys/girls and write about where you would go.
  16. It’s sugar awareness week, how can you lower your sugar consumption?
  17. Make a list of things sitting on your desk at this moment, then figure out how to clean things up.
  18. Pick a song you love and listen to it, then write about why you love it so much.
  19. The weather outside may be frightful [finish this sentence].
  20. Describe a snowflake.
  21. Make a list of 10 fun things you have done during the winter.
  22. Describe yourself in 3 -5 words.
  23. Write about the last place you visited.
  24. What have you been putting off and why?
  25. A change you could make that isn’t a resolution.
  26. What makes you feel proud?
  27. Find a poem or prayer that speaks to you and copy it into your journal.
  28. Find an inspirational quote and write about what it means to you.
  29. Finish this sentence: Today I will ___________ because ______________.
  30. Did you meet your goal for this month? Write about how you did or didn’t succeed and what you can do to carry through on it next month.
  31. It’s National Inspire Your Heart With Art Day what piece of art do you like? Find a picture and stick it in your journal.
