Welcome to the Wednesday Writing Sprints.
Wednesday writing sprints are here! Feel free to jump right in. It doesn’t matter which genre you write in, all are welcome. Fiction, freelance, lyrics, poetry—just be a writer today.
This event happens one day per week. It’s when you dedicate the entire day strictly to writing sprints. Try to turn off email, social media–anything that distracts you and just write.
The time can be spent outlining characters, plots, scenes, etc. or it can be spent using it for a writing marathon or getting caught up on freelance work. The focus is to simply devote more time to your writing.
Enjoy and share your progress throughout the day in comments.
- If you don’t have a timer, be sure to download something like cool timer. That’s the one I use. I love it!
- You can race the clock for however long you like; 30, 45 or 60 minutes. I prefer 30 minutes. I get more done if I don’t give myself too much time. See what works best for you.
- Post your progress in the comments section.
- It’s not about word counts–not a daily count, at least.
- It’s about planting your butt in the chair and being a writer and writing as many words as you can in a 30 minute race against the clock.
The most important thing is….HAVE A BLAST & KICK SOME WORD ASS!
Happy Writing Sprints!
Be sure to visit the Free Reports page. I recently added a

Hey all! Dog walking done and now it’s time to get back to business!
I was sick for the past couple of days so I’ve only been doing the minimum required for Tiff’s 365 challenge but now I’m ready so go again!
Today I plan to finish my report – It’s just taken me ages and I’m not sure why. I think it’s the fact that I have to include screenshots etc. that’s really slowing me down. Anyway, I really want to get that finished today.
I am also nearly finished with a PLR pack that I’ll probably release next week. If I manage to finish my report, I’ll finish that up – if not, I can do that tomorrow. The report is my priority now.
Hope everyone is well! :)

Morning Everyone
Exercise is done for the day, just about to have breakfast and make some coffee.
My goal for today is to write nothing but PLR material all day. Got all my freelance work done on Monday so can work on my own products now. Want to get 10 articles done at least.
Have fun!

Good morning/afternoon, Nathan and Sue!
I haven’t felt too good either. Sometimes womanhood kicks your ass and that’s all I’ll say about that. :)
I’m not planned for the day. All the planning I did before the New Year seems like it’s in the distant past, but I will find something to force myself to focus on today. I have a list of several reports I want to work on and a PLR package. I’ll start by choosing one thing and working on it.
Best of luck to you all.

Well, I did manage to finish my last section of the report. It wasn’t really the “last” section because I write it out of order. Just need to get down to editing now!
I hope everyone’s sprints are going well!
Just checking in to cheer you all on. I’m not participating because we had to go up to Springdale this morning, and now I’m kind of tired.
I hope you’re all having a blast and getting a lot accomplished. Good luck!

Just checking in too. Got distracted as my son came to visit, but did get one package of PLR done at least. Plus it was nice to be flexible and change my plans without having to ask permission.
Will catch up tomorrow and get the pack finished. Sent my list a survey today and offered a free gift to those who completed it. Gave me some good feedback and a direction to go in.
Have a good rest of the afternoon or evening depending upon where you are.

No writing for me today. My headache was a slight migraine. Not very painful but do have fuzzy vision when trying to look at text and all. So, I’ve been listening to audio training at Nicheology. Very good stuff.
Sue, I sent you an email in regards to the survey you sent out. :)
Hope everyone is kicking some butt. I fully intend to be back to myself tomorrow. If not, me and mother nature are going to butt heads and with me being the Aries, I Will win. LOL. It’s kinda funny, Aries are prone to headaches and head injuries. I tell everyone it’s because we head-butt the world. ;)

Hey all!
It’s after 1AM here and I worked flat out on my report for around 10 hours. I’m actually surprisingly wide awake still.
Sorry to hear you’re not feeling to great, Patti. At least you managed to listen to some audio training and relax a little. Hope you don’t have to do too much headbutting for a while!
Sue, I’m fighting back a temptation to get into the health niche in some way (you would think with my background in medical research I would have already) but if you release that PLR membership, I may not be able to control myself! :D
I’ve gotten quite a few requests to start a membership lately. I may take a closer look at it next week when I’m not as busy. I’ve almost prepared next week’s PLR release so I can spend next week making some plans.
This will be my last post of the day! I look forward to next week’s writing sprint! Goodnight all! :)
