Writer’s Digest annual “Short Story Competion” is now underway. The deadline for entries is Monday, November 2, 2009.
As usual there are 5 categories of entries:
- Romance
- Mystery/Crime Fiction
- Science Fiction/Fantasy
- Thriller/Suspense
- Horror
The Grand Prize consists of:
- $2,500 cash
- $100 worth of Writer’s Digest Books
- 2010 Novel & Short Story Writer’s Market

Lois, I think in those cases, you decide which category is closest and use that one. I hope to have some stuff to submit by then too. I may resubmit the one I entered several years ago.
I haven't checked to see what the fee is. Do you know what it is?
It's $15 per entry. I think it was $12.50 the last time I submitted. Inflation! *Sigh* LOL.
